In today’s entry, I share my experience with pelvic floor therapy at Studio Peti Element, where I have already attended training on myofascial programming and their various webinars. Peti Element always attracts me again due to its exceptional professionalism and holistic approach, offering a variety of perspectives on the individual.
The therapy with Špela Jakša, the founder of Peti Element, started with a thorough conversation about my health and lifestyle, followed by customized tests tailored to my specific needs. The entire course of therapy was completely personalized, with no two therapies being the same. After analyzing body posture, the treatment proceeded with manual therapy of the chest, aimed at relieving tension and improving respiratory function. I discovered that past asthma could be one of the reasons for tension in the lung area. Abdominal treatment was the next step, which included a gentle yet effective technique for detecting and releasing tense points in the body.
Intravaginal treatment was carried out with gentleness. The most fascinating thing for me was that, for the first time in my life, I felt my coccyx. When I felt it move forward and back, I experienced a pleasant contact with it. I also recognized different tensions in the muscles around the hip. This part of the therapy was exceptionally informative and provided a more detailed insight not only into the state of the pelvic floor but also into the state of my body. At the end of the therapy, I received individual instructions and advice on how I could further support my body.
It is important to mention that pelvic floor therapy is not intended only for women but is equally important and beneficial for men. Pelvic floor issues such as pain, incontinence, or sexual dysfunctions can significantly affect the quality of life regardless of gender.
For everyone considering pelvic floor therapy or having any body-related issues, regardless of your gender, I highly recommend visiting Studio Peti Element. Their team of experts will be happy to help and advise you. In addition to pelvic floor therapies, they also offer other treatments, exercises, and knowledge related to individual well-being.
I recommend Studio Peti Element and pelvic floor therapy to everyone facing physical issues, as well as those who wish to gain additional insight and understanding of themselves and their bodies. You can contact the studio at 041 352 555 or via [email protected].
