SPINAL ATTUNEMENT ™
Spinal Attunement™ is a somatic approach based on an understanding of the body as an intelligent and interconnected system in which physical, neurological, hormonal, emotional, and energetic processes are intertwined.
It works through and with the spine, which is understood not merely as an anatomical structure, but as a living and responsive system that participates in the organization of movement, breathing, perception, and response.
Understanding the spine begins with an understanding of the early embryonic development of the body. Around day 15 after conception, the primitive streak appears and begins to establish the body’s central axis. From it, the notochord develops, a flexible, rod-like structure that guides the surrounding tissues in the formation of the neural tube, the precursor of the central nervous system, from which the brain and spinal cord later develop.
Soon afterward, somites begin to form around the notochord, giving rise to the vertebrae, muscles, and connective tissues of the body. This developmental sequence demonstrates an important principle of human organization: the nervous system develops before the fully formed skeletal structure. The body first develops the capacity to perceive, respond, and connect with its environment, followed by the structures that provide physical support and enable movement.
After birth, the development of the spine continues through movement. Spiraling, rolling, pushing, reaching, crawling, sitting, and walking are not simply developmental milestones, but processes through which the body organizes itself in relation to gravity, space, and the world around it. Through these movement patterns, the curves of the spine develop, the functioning of different bodily systems becomes coordinated, and the capacity for effective adaptation develops.
From the perspective of developmental movement, the spine is not a static structure, but an evolving movement. Within Spinal Attunement™, these movements are understood not only as mechanical developmental stages, but also as expressions of the body’s organization, consciousness, and relationship with the world. The spine carries the memory of developmental processes and life experiences, how the body has learned over time to perceive, adapt, and respond.
Throughout life, the body encounters different internal and external experiences to which it responds through natural biological processes. These include different responses of the autonomic nervous system, such as fight, flight, freeze, or adaptation.
When these biological processes do not have the opportunity, support, or appropriate conditions to complete their cycle, they may remain as unfinished processes within the body’s organization. This can be expressed on different levels of a person’s experience: on a physical level through increased tension, altered breathing patterns, restricted movement, or physical discomfort; and on an emotional and mental level through inner tension, repetitive thought patterns, difficulty relaxing, or a feeling of being constantly prepared to respond.

SPINAL ATTUNEMENT ™
…the spine is the origin and expression, the unfolding memory of life itself
Spinal Attunement™ is a method through which the body can reconnect with these processes and allow their integration and reorganization to take place in a way that is unique to each individual’s system.
An important part of the method is working with the neuroendocrine system, which connects the functioning of the nervous and endocrine systems. Within Spinal Attunement™, the nervous system is understood as the electrical aspect of the body’s organization, while the endocrine system is understood as the magnetic aspect, together creating an electromagnetic field.
Spinal Attunement™ supports the gradual release of chronic tension and protective patterns, allowing the individual to gradually encounter what the body once held as a form of protection. As this begins to happen, the spine gradually awakens, the primary breath is restored between the vertebrae, energy begins to flow again, and the body enters a process of natural restoration.

The price of a session is €85.
A session lasts 45 – 60 minutes (the first session may last up to 90 minutes).
Before the first session, you will be asked to complete a questionnaire.
Spinal Attunement™ is not a medical treatment and does not replace medical diagnosis, treatment, or psychotherapy. It is intended to support body awareness, connection with the body, exploration of internal regulation, and overall well-being. The practice of Spinal Attunement™ is carried out in accordance with the standards recognized by the International Practitioners of Holistic Medicine (IPHM).
